Our home life was great. We clicked during all things domestic. The sex was fantastic.

But whenever in public, my ex couldn’t stop bashing other women. If she saw someone else who was pretty, she’d pick them apart under her breath. If she walked by an overweight person, she’d grin and make crude jokes.

And don’t even get me started on dining out. Whenever we’d have a female server, I knew I was in for an hour or more of snide, catty remarks.

I just wish one of the people whom my ex bashed would’ve overheard her. I’d have taken grim satisfaction in watching her eat a face-slap or two.
